A 2023 Status Update on Reconciliation

Mercury contamination causing people in Grassy Narrows to 'lose hope,' First Nation tells IACHR hearing - CBC News (The last paragraph of this article states, "While Grassy Narrows moves ahead with litigation, he (Arif Bulkan), a commissioner with teh Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) said, 'more direct dialogue between the community and provincial and federal governments may help facilitate a resolution.' " I wonder how much more direct they need to be, how about, "You are killing us, this is genocide!"

POLITICAL DENIAL FROM OUTSIDE CANADA

B.C. has 'very large faucet' that could help with California's drought: Trump

Like so many things Trump says it would be laughable if it were not so ridiculous!

In my memoir on page 106. I wrote:

"In one of my letter-writing campaigns to all members of parliament (MPs), I suggested that they vote in favour of the United Nations’ declaration that safe drinking water is a basic human right. Why did Canada, among other developed countries, abstain from voting to recognize the resolution? Only one MP, Peter McKay, replied. He explained he would not sign the declaration in case the United States put demands on Canada for access to our source waters when states like Nevada were “dry.” At least he responded."
