Political Denial
Page 108 of Water Confidential: "I do believe that many people enter the political arena wanting to do the best for their constituents, but too often their hands are tied… MPs such as Nathan Cullen, Jon Gerrard and Charlie Angus made sincere efforts to improve conditions in Indigenous communities."
Now, today, Canadians are thankful for the work Charlie Angus continues as the Resistance.
Charlie Angus was the politician I held the highest respect for when I was actively involved. He recently posted: “When our leaders abandon their duty, when the media turn away, when international NGOs and doctors are murdered for trying to help, then it falls to ordinary people to take action.”

POLITICAL DENIAL FROM OUTSIDE CANADA
B.C. has 'very large faucet' that could help with California's drought: Trump
“Like so many things Trump says it would be laughable if it were not so sad! In my memoir on page 106. I wrote: ‘In one of my letter-writing campaigns to all members of parliament (MPs), I suggested that they vote in favour of the United Nations’ declaration that safe drinking water is a basic human right. Why did Canada, among other developed countries, abstain from voting to recognize the resolution? Only one MP, Peter McKay, replied. He explained he would not sign the declaration in case the United States put demands on Canada for access to our source waters when states like Nevada were ‘dry.’ At least he responded.’”
